Welcome to the Missouri Cannabis Industry Association. We are a group of business owners and entrepreneurs from all walks of life with one thing which unites us, the social responsibility to progress the medical cannabis industry in Missouri. The MCIA will be the go-to organization for the Missouri legislature as they craft the regulations for this new industry. We hope to play a pivotal role in this process, working hand in hand with the politicians, reconciling politics with business.
Missouri Cannabis Industry Association Presents:
Saturday, July 27, 2019, 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm – University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center, 333 John Q Hammons Parkway, Springfield, MO 65806
MCIA is going on the road with an intensive, one-day seminar to Springfield, MO.
This concise and in-depth seminar covers the latest hot topics concerning dispensary, cultivation, manufacturing, planning and operation, IRS 280E tax strategies, procedures, compliance, cash management and banking.
We’ve packed a ton of information into a half-day cannabis seminar. No fluff. No sales pitches. You’ll get the straight facts. See real-life in-progress business plans come to life as our presenters reveal their own “case histories” and discuss their dispensary and cultivation business development.
Our keynote speaker, Lyndall Fraker, Missouri Director of Medical Marijuana from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) will provide an up-to-date progress report on the licensing process. July 2019 will be a critical time for many license applicants as they fine tune and prepare to submit applications for cultivation, dispensary, and manufacturing licenses.
Find out how changing regulatory rules and procedures can affect your business plans as you prepare to enter Missouri’s medical cannabis industry.
We were delighted to have a spectacular lineup of seasoned cannabis industry experts for our Springfield seminar.
Dan Viets, JD, MCIA Board Chair, will be moderating the seminar as we present our speakers including: Paul E. Callicoat, MD, Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist (retired), Paul Bocci, Certified Public Accountant, Megan Wilson, JD, Wilson Compliance Consulting, Lisa Roark, MD, Roark Family Health, and Desmond Morris II, Founder, The Wholesome Bud Company
